A good meeting without ownership achieves little

Some meetings feel excellent. Good ideas are shared, people build on each other and the meeting ends with a confident “we will do it”. A week later, however, four participants may have four different ideas about who “we” actually meant.
This is rarely unwillingness. In a lively conversation, attention quickly moves from one decision to the next topic. The action seems obvious, so nobody explicitly asks who will take it. Everyone then leaves the room with a slightly different interpretation.
A useful record makes agreements concrete. It captures not only what was discussed, but also which action follows, who is responsible and when it is due. This is especially important for independent consultants and interim professionals, who often work across organisational boundaries and cannot rely on one shared task list.
Bizzi-B records the conversation and follow-up actions under the correct client. This makes ownership visible and also prepares the next meeting. Instead of discussing again what was intended, you can start with what has actually happened.
A good meeting has value. Clear ownership makes sure that value does not remain in the meeting room.
